Muted tone Kitchen Design
Dining room and kitchen combo
Designing and decorating in gray tones
This large, symetrical kitchen style keeps everything in line. The island seating, room lighting and even the dining table
accomodate the gray/green colors nicely. A vaulted ceiling and wide walking spaces create a very open expansive feel.
Massive amounts of cabinets
The one thing you may notice about the slab styled cabinetry and drawers is that there are no handles or pulls. The multipiece laminate cabinet doors
are installed on a frameless design and contain glued pieces of white laminate at the top and bottom of the door.
Corner cabinets have been installed with a bread box storage in the backsplash area.
Large Kitchen island design
A huge island with Corian countertops surround the electric stove top and small sink.
Seating for three offers plenty of eating space.
Lighting galore illuminates and warms
Plenty of ambient light and task specific lighting exist in this kitchen. Dual hanging chandelier style lights brighten the island extremely
well and allows you to lower the general lighting while eating at the island. A nice touch to the vast room is the ambiance lighting above
and below the shelving situated above the cabinets. It helps create warmth to a large kitchen with vaulted ceiling.
Appliances
Dual Over-Under ovens in white along with built-in microwave and refrigerator emphasize the kithchen theory of triangulation between sink, oven and refigeration.
